AM/PM time is in – this is now a module setting so you can choose for each module (stored as one time in DB and then displayed differently).

Unfortunately Recurring Events are looking doubtful for the next release to be he honest - they MAY make it in, but I doubt it.

And some other features:

• RSS Feed on Upcoming Public Events
• Export to Outlook (.vcs file)
• Limited Events (Event "closes" after X positive RSVPs)
• Better filtering on Upcoming Events – eg. "Today Only",
• Filtering on Category (so you can set Upcoming Events modules to certain categories only)
• Better filtering on MyEvents (admin gets My Events and All Events) and tile filter
• Suppression of unused fields on Event Detail
• Extra attachment field and ability to link to page
• More Localization fields
• Punch-in to Event Detail page directly from email
• Ability to send Private Messages to Guests (for adhoc updates)
• Private Host comment on RSVP (only event owner sees this)
• Much better Guest management tools (delete all etc)
• Ability to extract comma-delimited email list from guests (if you want to mail them)
• CSS Styles for EventName on Calendar and detail
• Copy Events – reverts back to draft and resets RSVPs
• Start and Stop to replace duration
• Guest invite screen now only shows non-invited guests and not all
• Module now uses Event Admin role so you can have any role(s) act as Event admins
• Various bug fixes and small changes

Out of interest, I’ve already got a massive list of changes I have identified from using this on PokerDIY.com – got some very cool things planned!

Long term I would like to implement better export functionality – such as integration with Google Calendars and other popular event systems.  Better searching and tagging will be coming soon, as well as much better integration with Google Maps and location. At some point Timezones will need to be implemented, as well as the ability to add UDF (custom fields) to an event, but these are a long way off…

Unfortunately there are just as many features required in the the UserProfile, UserGroups, HomePage and other modules, so patience is required ;)
