Smart-Thinker Events is a DotNetNuke Event Management System with email notifications
This module can be seen in action on PokerDIY.com (Find live poker games and leagues). You can download a free trial version for your own site here.
Major new features are improvements to the Guest templating system, and
the ability to publish text in the event detail based on the RSVP.
There are a lot of bug fixes in this version.
Enhancements
- Ability to display color-coded text based on RSVP response in EventDetail
- Guestlist now on same page as EventDetail (Like GroupMembers) and not a module action
- New Filter on Guestlist by multiple RSVP type.
- Added "RSVPEdit" Token for GuestDetail page to allow EventHost/Admin to Edit RSVPs
- Updated UserSearch - Can switch List/Profile views and set default
- Added "20" records to UserSearch Control Settings
- Removed "EventDurationID" and "IsClosed" column from Event table
- UserSearch control enhanced to have default mode selection and more control over what is shown
From 4.3.2:
- Removed reliance on "UserProfile" tab naming * Note -
some other Smart-Thinker modules still have this requirement! Can only
be changed if you use this module in isolation.
- EventUsers now inserted more efficiently
- Added "Choose Mode" on EventEdit back in to fix the problem where the cookie was set incorrectly
BugFixes
- Removed Attachment link on Detail page which is not used
- MyEvents and UpcomingEvents link not rendered correctly with non-Friendly URLs
- Fixed bug with postback and Images/Profile view
- Fixed bugs when non-friendly URLs are used on event links
