Local Forest Hills club is involved in water purification project designed to help developing countries confront on a local level drinkable water. At a cost of three cents a day per household this method promises to be widely used. www.purewaterforall.org.

Our idea is to set up a micro business and provide the capital equipment (press, etc) and supplies (Colodial silver, etc).  We would also provide a seed inventory of filters, collection containers, and spigots. All that would have to be provided locally is the earthen kiln for firing the filters.
 
When this seed inventory is sold, the proceeds can be rolled back into new production, thus creating a self sustaining business that can supply and support the customer base.
 
We would provide the training (with perhaps a trip to the U.S. to be trained at our production facility at the Braddock Carnegie Library and business training at Slippery Rock University.
