Editing your page is easy! Your webpage has 2 modes - an Edit mode and a Preview mode. When you are in Edit mode you will see the basic layout of the website. You will notice that all your modules have little 'Edit' icons on them so that you can change their content. Whilst this is useful, you may prefer to see how your page will look in real life, so open the Control Panel and click on Preview button. You will notice the icon changes and you can now close the Control Panel and use your webpage. The only thing you do have to be careful with is understanding the security around a module. For example, if you edit the security details and remove the rights to view the module, it will disappear, so be careful when tinkering with the more advanced settings. Having said that though, you could always add another module, so it's not the end of the world! This help text is stored in the Header and Footer of this module. To show someone your page, copy the URL in your browser above and send it to them (assuming they have the correct rights to see it). |
