We recommend that you only judge the speed after your first hit in case the old site has not yet been loaded, and bear in mind the page will not be cached on the first visit. The site is 99% identical (about a week out of date as of the 15th of May) so any speed differences are down to the hosting server. Do NOT update data on the .eu site as it will be discarded.

 

 Out of interest, when the 2 sites are run through iwebtool speed-tester, you can see quite a difference:
