Wall and Story Feed - Limit the amount of Rows Outputted

Details: In some layouts I create I have the need to limit the number of outputs on the Story Feed and Wall. A setting to limit these to 0 (unlimited) or XX number of outputs would be a great addition for everyone.

Yes, both need paging and a user preference setting. I am also undecided about how many of each should be stored in total before being erased (the storyfeed data will add up quickly on big sites so maybe the last 100 actions for each user/type should be stored and the rest purged (this is different from paging).
