Copy existing module from different page

Details: Hi Rodney,
What I would like to do is to have pre-configured content available for my homepage users to add -- just like MyYahoo.
If I could add modules to a hidden page, say a bunch of configured rss feeds, and then add these to the list of available modules, my HomePage users could pick and choose which rss feeds they want to look at!

This is a good idea and I think it would be possible to implement in a future version. It's going to be a while before I start work on this module again, but I will try to get it in then - a user will be able to point at a page and select modules from it (similar to Add Existing modules). We can brainstorm requirements closer to the time.

Thanks
Rodney

Hi Rodney,
Is this feature available in the current trial version? I noticed the thread is 10 months old.
Thanks very much.

Hello,

No, it is not yet - BUT the new templating features for DNN 4.3.4+ make this a little easier, so I have scheduled it for the next version. This is some time off (maybe 3-4 months) as I have just released the current HP module and am working on moving all modules to DNN 4.3+ with Trial Versions. I believe that one of my customers customised their version to do this, so it is possible.

Thanks
Rodney
