I support this request, especially if it could be enhanced for XML download, or even better: webservice to be called from the outside.
The last option would enable to integrate it e.g. in Word for mailmerge or connected to Outlook or ...

What would be the best format - XML? There should be loads of conversion utils to go from XML to CSV/EXCEL etc.

With a Webservice - how would you handle security?

Mitchel's Blog talks about doing this:

this just exports the visual information in the Invites screen to Excel - is that enough data or are there more fields that should be exported. Is this still a needed feaure?
