Bulk Mail Module on PokerDIY - Any good solution?  (N/A)

Hi,

I've read the post regarding the pokerDIY newsletter sending issues in : http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/247696/scope/posts/threadpage/2/Default.aspx

My website has about 4K members now and we have to send newsletter once a week. The bad thing is when I sending newsletter, all other email generated like member registration, forget password, PM etc...all that mails went missing! (Just noticed it awhile back, no wonder I have so many unauthenticated users on spefic time !)

Mind to share your experience on the mailing issue?

I think I'd try the onyaktech...

Able to set a different SMTP for the newsletter is important to not affecting other emailing I think.

Thanks.

George Lew

Hi,

We use onyaktech Nuke Alert for about 6 months on a site for a customer. Works great and almost everything is adjustable.
In example : i wrote a few SQL scripts for integrating with the Ventrian News Articles module when you make a new token in the newsletter (Onyaktech Nuke Alert Module). The customer has 4 categories in Ventrian News Articles. The module has 4 different newsletters wich users can subscribe. The module can automatically create 4 newsletters with the last 4 posts of each categorie. This will be sends once a month.

So my experience : Looks good, works great, have to make some adjustments.

Great flexibility
Great support

Bye

Hi George,

I updated that thread with my experiences (it's easier to keep all the info in one place) - I'll keep you informed how my next Newsletter goes.

Thanks
Rodney
