Smart-Thinker DNN Forums

Forum Guidelines

Please ensure you follow the bug-raising guidelines (e.g. post the full error from your Event Viewer) if you are raising a support call. To request a feature in a module, please use Feature Requests (unless you want to discuss it here in more detail first). If you have an urgent feature that you would like to see in the product then you should consider a Sponsored Enhancement

First Time User? Make sure you have read the Module Config Guide in the documents folder of each module. Also check out this handy Module Deployment Guide (written by a Smart-Thinker customer!)

Configuration issues and no time to read the Forums/Documentation? See our DotNetNuke Premium Support Service. We need your opinion! Please read our proposed new CrowdSourcing development method and let us know if you would be interested and if it might work.

Problem with Trial User License  (N/A)

We own the Enterprise version of UserProfile.

We have made an addition and have created a new PA.  Have installed.  Now I'm getting an occasional reminder that I'm running a trial license and need to purchase.

How to fix?

Did you increment the version number in the Assembly file? The first 3 parts of the version need to stay the same, but the last build number can be changed.

[assembly: AssemblyVersion("4.3.12.*")]

Thanks

Yes.

Now, having done that ... is there an easy way to set the version number back without damaging what I've already done?

Re: Problem with Trial User License  (N/A)

This version number and the module/SQL version number are not directly related. I use this version number for the licensing check but it does not neccessairly match the module version number, so resettting it should be fine?

Thanks
