Dear Rod,

currently i have dnn 4.4.1 and the newest modules from you.

Now i setup the userprofile modules.

1. Modul is on myplace/myprofile, the settings are LoggedOnUser

2. Modul is like in the descrition on User Profile, the settings are Pass-In

when i link the usergroup modul, the the user will be redirected to 1. and sees always his profile, even when he clicks on someone else name.

if i change to Pass-in, the he will probably not see his own profile....

how can i solve this issue?

Aha - I was wondering how long it would be before someone else hit this problem (I found it on PokerDIY.com the other day). The dynamic lookup basically takes the first UserProfile module it finds - in the latest Groups module (4.3.3 - dogfooding on PokerDIY currently) I now have module settings where you can pick the UserProfile module to use. I am updating all the modules (Events, UserProfile etc.) as I update them to get rid of this problem, but it only affects 5% of installations where there are more than 2 UserProfile Profile modules on one install, and where the first one is not the desired one.

While you wait (I hope to release the updated UserGroups and UserProfiles in the next 2 days) - a hack may be to delete the first UserProfile module (and check if the linking works) and then add it back in so that the ModuleID is higher than the other one. Let me know if this works please.

What happens when there is only the one UP module left? Does it work then? Also - clear out your Recycle Bin after a delete as some of the core module retrieval methods do not exclude deleted modules.
