UserDirectory Sortable?  (N/A)

Is there a way to make the user directory sortable by columns?

Re: UserDirectory Sortable?  (Australia)

Hello,

No, I am afraid this is not possible (as simple as it sounds) for techinical reasons/scaleability. It has to do with the way the profile information is stored in the database and how it is retrieved. You could modify the source and use a grid control and do non-server side sorting (as in, sort the data you have, but this is not true sorting as it is only sorting the record set you are dealing with).

Thanks
Rodney

Re: UserDirectory Sortable?  (Australia)

I'm afraid I don't have the time to work on customizations like this - there is the option of a sponsored enhancement which is were I work at an hourly rate and build the enhancement into the next version (so it is not a customisation). I have a few of these lined up though, so it may be easier for you to give the source to another developer to customize.

Thanks
