Smart-Thinker DNN Forums

Forum Guidelines

Please ensure you follow the bug-raising guidelines (e.g. post the full error from your Event Viewer) if you are raising a support call. To request a feature in a module, please use Feature Requests (unless you want to discuss it here in more detail first). If you have an urgent feature that you would like to see in the product then you should consider a Sponsored Enhancement

First Time User? Make sure you have read the Module Config Guide in the documents folder of each module. Also check out this handy Module Deployment Guide (written by a Smart-Thinker customer!)

Configuration issues and no time to read the Forums/Documentation? See our DotNetNuke Premium Support Service. We need your opinion! Please read our proposed new CrowdSourcing development method and let us know if you would be interested and if it might work.

STUP   (United States)

I've looked throught the forums and havent found the exact answer yet to either of these questions. #1 When I installed the ST User Profile modules everything was working just fine. But now lately when anyone tries to edit their profile the updates don't take effect at all. I've deselected the setting in the User Accounts control for supports partial rendering and the cache setting on the STUP-Profile is at 0. Is this a caching issue or something else i screwed up? #2 Is there a way to remove or disable the Insert/Edit Image icon from the rich text editor in the User Account module?

Re: STUP   (N/A)

Hello Davey,

It sounds like these are core DNN problems and not related to the ST UP module -

1) Does anything save (ie any profile property that does not use a rich textbox?). If you go and edit the user again after saving are the changes there? (ie. is it saving but not displaying or not even saving?)

2) This is a core issue - coincidentally I have blogged on customising the DotNetNuke FCK editor.

Thanks
Rodney
