Size Limit...  (N/A)
Hello all,

Can we fix an upper limit to the amount of data a user can upload through his/her homepage?

may be its an obvious feature... but i am new to smart-thinker homepage and have only gone thru the basic feature list.

Thanks in advance.

Raghu.

Re: Size Limit...  (United Kingdom)
Hello Raghu

I don't think this will be possible to be honest - it does not fit within the architecture of the module.
Bascially the module automates the process of creating a new tab and assigning the user to a role that has admin rights on that page.
From then on it is pretty much treated as any other user-created page with admin rights. Therefore, if you can't do this manually currently, you probably can't do it with the HomePage module (and vica versa, so look for the manual solution first).

You may be better off at looking at generic ways to limit upload data by userID (and then the HomePage module would automatically be affected), but I think it is a long way off from being in the core.

Thanks
Rodney
