I am used the Trial version of Smart-Thinker - ReferAFriend module but when i clicked on send Link....It will give this Error....

Error - " Ooops! Something went wrong - please contact the Administrator. Click here to go back. "

What change's i am doing to solved this problem....Because i am checking all the admin setting & ReferAFriend setting....

When I click on Log viewer in Admin function....It will give this Error in the page of "admin/Logging/LogViewer.ascx.vb"

Error :->"The type initializer for 'DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.LoggingProvider' threw an exception."

Module Name and Version Number  ==> Smart-Thinker - Referrals Trial PA 04.03.01

DotNetNuke Version Number  ==> DotNetNuke 4.4.1

 

My DotNetNuke Site gives one Error. It is not properly Install....But it is working fine....

Error in My site is ==>  'Could not Load file or Assembly'....

 Plz Help Me....

Hi,

Can you please post the full error message that should be logged at the same time as this in the Event Viewer. Please also state what version of DNN you are on. Do the referral mails ever arrive?

The error message I get is:

System.InvalidOperationException: The SMTP host was not specified. at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.CheckHostAndPort() at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(String MailFrom, String MailTo, String Cc, String Bcc, String ReplyTo, MailPriority Priority, String Subject, MailFormat BodyFormat, Encoding BodyEncoding, String Body, String[] Attachment, String SMTPServer, String SMTPAuthentication, String SMTPUsername, String SMTPPassword, Boolean SMTPEnableSSL)

E-mails do not arrive. I am on 04.08.04

Hi,

 

This sounds like a generic SMTP error - are your SMTP settings set on your Host Settings? Does any email work on the site at all?
