Problem with JavaScript  (N/A)

Rodney,

I'm a newbie at all of this, and I just installed the Referrals module.

At first, it worked fine, then, when I try to adjust the settings, I'm getting an error:

WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions is not defined

Please advise.

Thanks,

Steven

Re: Problem with JavaScript  (Japan)

Hello Steven,

It sounds like it could be an AJAX issue - what version of DNN are you using? Is it on a normal page? What were you doing at the time of that error exactly?

Thanks
Rodney

Re: Problem with JavaScript  (N/A)

Rodney,

Thanks. I'm sure you're right. I'm using 4.8, and put the module on a normal page. I was changing the outgoing textbox message, and when I hit update, I get the message.

I seem to have AJAX issues, and don't know how to solve them.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Steven

Re: Problem with JavaScript  (Japan)

When you say you have AJAX issues - does it happen in other places? I am trying to work out if this is specific to my modules or if it is a general issue (in which case you are better off asking on the core Forums as I am not familiar with any outstanding AJAX issues).

Does it happen on any other textboxes? You can try going into Module Defintions and turning off "Enable Partial Rendering on the Referrals module".

Thanks
Rodney
