• Consider: Don't use core upload control - do not allow users to see other images on the server

A simple field that allows the group owner to go in and make an announcement that doesn't need to be saved like news articles.  (ie...My members would be quilters so they might want to tell everyone what the block of the month is).  The message doesn't need to be saved for later use when it gets changed.   I figured if you duplicate the description field but called it group news, I could put in instructions for them on how to change it when they need to.  The idea is to be somewhat similar to the [profilestatus] for the profile modules.  I thought it would be a good way to give the group a little extra information; a quick fix until a real announcement module came along that could be tied to groups.

I was hoping it would only take you five minutes to add: a copy and paste change the variable names sort of deal.  If not, oh well.

Yes, we do need 1 more sponsor - thanks a lot for that. I am working on StoryFeed Commenting, paging and filtering and then I will move onto this and sort it out.

Also, I don't know if this would be a seperate project, but it seems that if we have a logo now, wouldn't it be very user friendly if the list page could have a template? have some tokens exposed to show things like the logo, purpose of the group etc.
