Extending licenses  (N/A)

Hi, I had purchased a Gold Developer licnese and ended up months ago.  I have not paid much attention on the subscription time limit and when I tried to upgrade I have found out the license is out of date. When I try to extend my license, I have noticed that the price seems not reasonable. :(

Now I only have the choice to purchase a NEW license instead of extending my existing one, which is not attractive to me, because it is the same primary version and major funtions are already on my hand and I do not want to pay that much for a new Gold Developer license. Furthermore,  purchase a new silver license is 69 and I believe it is over industry standard for a licese extension.

Do you have a plan for extending current license instead of purchasing a new one?

Re: Extending licenses  (N/A)

Hello Richard,

Thank you for your feedback, but we feel that our modules are priced extremely fairly. Most complex modules retrail for the license cost for a single module, let alone a product suite. A lot of products offer single portal licenses, whereas our Silver license ($69 for the whole product suite) is for 10 portals. This is the reason we do not offer license extensions - the cost averages out over time.

We offer a discount of 30% for re-purchases of the enterprise license. I have to respectfully disagree that it is below industry-standard pricing.

Thanks
Rodney

Re: Extending licenses  (N/A)

Thanks a lot for your reply. I had made a mistake in assuming the "industry" standard as those high-valued commercial package software. And after your explanation, I believe it's quite reasonable. I will purchase a new license then. Thanks!
