Licensing Questions  (United States)
A few questions on the licensing.

I became a customer before your new licensing was announced. I made some quotes for a non-profit with several clubs based on the assumption that they could use this on all child sites to the portal. Right now we are only using it on 3 sites - but there is the potential for it to expand to be over 100.

How does this effect me/my client as I was a customer before the new licensing was put into place?

What is required to increase the license? If I end up needing to buy more licenses do I just need a new .lic file? If I have made code changes to the source will I have to reinstall the module or revert to your code when I need to get a new license file?

Thanks!

Re: Licensing Questions  (N/A)
Hi,

As an existing customer you are excempt from the new portal restrictions. This really should only apply if you are a recurring subscriber (the new licensing model came into effect when I moved to the non-recurring Product Suites) but there may have been some crossover.

If you wanted more than 100 and you were a new customer you could pay the difference to upgrade to an Enterprise license (yes, you can just overwrite the .lic file), but I'm happy to let this go for now.

Thanks
Rodney
