New Topic Not available  (United States)

Problem with the wall...the "New Topic" was not showing up.  I read through the forums and tried all of your suggestions.  I have changed to a default DNN container.  I have adjusted the user controls in module definitions.  I have at least gotten it now, when I create a new user, it allows this link to show up, but my previous users still do not have the ability.  Obviously I can not get every one to create new account, what can I do so that everyone...new and old user can post multiple messages on the wall?

Thanks,
Andrea

Re: New Topic Not available  (Australia)

Hi Andrea,

Yes,  this is a known issue in the DNN core - you can read the solution here. Out of interest, I had the exact same problem on my Poker Portal - PokerDIY.com - some members were complaining that they could not post on their own wall, but after running the scripts I managed to fix it. I have shared the solution for others but it is an obscure problem that depends on which DNN versions you have had and your core settings, so not everyone gets it.

Thanks
Rodney
