post has replies  (N/A)

I was wondering if there is a way to indicate if a threaded post has replies on the top level of the thread. to date I have not found this function. If this does not exist, I think it would be a useful feature so as to eliminate guess work, clicking into a tread to check for new posts (if you havn't set notifiction)

Thanks Rod

Mark

Yes, this would be good – maybe a “x replies” token (it would be a more expensive query though which is a pity as I am trying to make it as efficient as possible. The SQL would have to do a count for each Topic and then you could choose whether to display it or not)
Thanks

I think sometimes its ok to take a small performance hit in the name of ease of use. its like buying a set of expensive cross-trainers and never using them
