Please ensure you follow the bug-raising guidelines (e.g. post the full error from your Event Viewer) if you are raising a support call. To request a feature in a module, please use Feature Requests (unless you want to discuss it here in more detail first). If you have an urgent feature that you would like to see in the product then you should consider a Sponsored Enhancement.

[WRITEONWALL] Token  (N/A)

Rod,

I'm trying to use the [WRITEONWALL] Token, and only have it show up at the top of the module once, but when I put it in the Advanced Header section it doesn't work.  I would rather not have it repeated all the way down the wall since it doesn't really make sense to me - I'm not using threaded mode.  How do I make that happen?  Also, is there a place to edit the text for what it says - "Post Comment"?

Thanks!
Steve

Re: [WRITEONWALL] Token  (N/A)

Hi Steve,

Yes, this has been requested before - it really needs to have a Footer and Header template section but this is not currently possible (please vote in the Feature Requests for this).

Post Comment should be a language string - please check the .resx file for the Wall module.

Thanks
Rodney

Re: [WRITEONWALL] Token  (United States)

Hey Rod,

I brought up the request, and thought this was the fix for it - there isn't a way to make the token available in the Advanced>Header section then?

Thanks,
Steve

Re: [WRITEONWALL] Token  (N/A)

Hi Steve,

I think you are referring to the core module settings - there is no way of accessing this field without touching the core - I need to add my own footer and header (like Ventrian does).

Thanks
Rodney
