SM Forum - lag on click response times  (United Kingdom)

Rod, When ever I use the forum I suffer a delay of between 10-20 seconds on making clicks on different buttons/links.  Its not the end of the world, just wondered if it's something your aware off.

Re: SM Forum - lag on click response times  (N/A)

Thanks for reporting this (you know how users never tell you when something is wrong!) - it is very quick for me - perhaps it is a non-admin issue! Is it always the same speed or is it sometimes quick?

Thanks
Rodney

Re: SM Forum - lag on click response times  (N/A)

Unfortunately I have done nothing - really frustrating! Not sure why the speed is fluctuating. The email notifications were all reset when I upgraded the the latest Forum version (the DNN core say this is by design for some reason), but you should get email notifications (I do) - does the checkbox remain checked when you view the thread again?

Thanks
Rodney

Re: SM Forum - lag on click response times  (United Kingdom)

Further info on this.....

I'm back at work now and using IE, the lag has returned, it seems to suck all the processing power of the whole computer and freezes up all other elements.  However when I switched and opened it in FireFox there was no problems.....

Offer the w/e I was at home, and only suffered minor lag using IE....

How very strange!

Dan
