Forum Guidelines

Please ensure you follow the bug-raising guidelines (e.g. post the full error from your Event Viewer) if you are raising a support call. To request a feature in a module, please use Feature Requests (unless you want to discuss it here in more detail first). If you have an urgent feature that you would like to see in the product then you should consider a Sponsored Enhancement.

First Time User? Make sure you have read the Module Config Guide in the documents folder of each module. Also check out this handy Module Deployment Guide (written by a Smart-Thinker customer!)

Configuration issues and no time to read the Forums/Documentation? See our DotNetNuke Premium Support Service.

We need your opinion! Please read our proposed new CrowdSourcing development method and let us know if you would be interested and if it might work.

Re: Looking for "MY" Modules  (Australia)

I think OnyakTech.com has a "My Links" type module... Bozmodules has a user pic gallery...

Thanks

Re: Looking for "MY" Modules  (N/A)

I have them both. I am looking more like my notes/my docs/my appointment calender to be shared with various people (like a group appointment calender) hint hint/my contacts/My music/My tasks....etc. If anyone knows where I can find them, please please take some time and let me know. Thank you..

Rodney, whats the next project? when are you releasing it? I know you are busy, but come on we need you and more modules for social networking..

Also, have you considered integrating the old DNN Discussion module with Smart-thinker. Modify it to have smart-thinker's own forum? Also, if you tweak your wall module, it can also become a stand alone forum. Of course, you will make it integrate"able" with the Smart-thinker user profile.

There's no new projects on the horizon - I am concentrating on developing the existing product suite. I have a lot of enhancements and requests to work through. At the moment I am rewriting the Event templating engine so that you can use templating on the Event Detail page (this will eventually be done on the Groups module too).

Discussions Module - no, the Wall module can do most of what this module can do, but better IMO - it should allow simple collaboration (which is what the Discussions module did) but not complex colaboration like the Forums module. I think the Wall module achieves this aim perfectly (it is not designed to replace or be a Forums module).

Thanks
Rodney
