Please ensure you follow the bug-raising guidelines (e.g. post the full error from your Event Viewer) if you are raising a support call. To request a feature in a module, please use Feature Requests (unless you want to discuss it here in more detail first). If you have an urgent feature that you would like to see in the product then you should consider a Sponsored Enhancement.

DNN development business at the moment  (Denmark)
Hi Rod.
Like everyone else I love your modules and your ideas. I use them every day and from what my users tell me, they love the tools too.

Looking at what is going on in the dnn development business at the moment, it seems some of the single working developers are either short of time and sell their modules to a company or the modules simply fades away. We’ve seen it all before and we will see it again, as the dnn versions grow.

Before we enter dnn version 5.0 my question to you Rod is this: Where are you and your development in say 2 years?

If your answer is “I will keep moving it forward for years to come” then a look at a feature list would be welcomed. I hope and would like to see future updates and new developments but I also know life can change drastically for a single developer and support and development becomes impossible. Just want to plan a site's future well ahead.

Re: DNN development business at the moment  (N/A)

Hi Jesper,

Thanks for your compliments.

This is a very interesting and timely question – at the moment all I can say is that there are some big changes coming up at Smart-Thinker that should benefit everyone involved. I will elaborate on this shortly.

Thanks
Rodney
