Hey Rod.  (N/A)

I was trying to figure out how to direct my users by using a map. I' m not sure what it is called but something like the U.S. map on www.barfactory.com.  Do you know where I can find something similar and what it is called. I tried snowcovered.com but had little success since I was not sure what to search for. Thanks.

Re: Hey Rod.  (Australia)

Hi,

No, I'm afraid not - that's a Flash map - you wuold need a Flash developer - it's failry common (State selection) and could just pass a State search string to the UserGroup search results (not sure about users). Not quite the same, but have you seen the UserProfile/Google Maps integration on PokerDIY for poker players?

Thanks
Rodney

Re: Hey Rod.  (N/A)

Ya did you just go to google maps and download the "For Public Websites: Google Maps API" software from their site?

Re: Hey Rod.  (Australia)

No, you need to download the free Google Module from bi4ce.

This module has been converted into a core DNN module and is in the Release Tracker at the moment.

Re: Hey Rod.  (N/A)

Re: Hey Rod.  (Australia)

Yes, it's a normally DNN module but it's quite complex to set up. They very helpful on the forums on Bi4ce and they have some great tutorials showing how to configure it and use it. When it comes out the core it will be a bit different, so if you can hold off for a few weeks you should consider doing this to make your upgrade path easier.

Thanks
