Please accept my apologies if I have already missed this answer in a previous post, as I was unable to find any relating information on this.
First and foremost, I wish to thank you for the time put into these modules over the years, as well as the change from a purchased module to complete open-source development and release. In browsing your source code, I can tell that many many hours of time and energy have gone into this suite and trust me when I say it is greatly appreciated.
My current issue is this: In my production environment, I do not need major features like recurring events or even RSVP/Invite functionality. Here is my basic main problem:
- Events that span multiple days do not appear in the event calendar once the first day has passed. Example: event scheduled for Memorial Day weekend starting Friday and ending Monday - after Friday comes to pass, the event is considered "PAST" by the module and fails to appear in the listing for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.
- I need events that span multiple days to appear on all days they are occurring. I am hoping not to have to copy the events and post it as 'daily' for each day it occurs (say posting seperate events for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday when technically it is the 'same event').
I have many needs regarding the templating and CSS of the module, but those I can slowly accomplish on my own via code hacks and updates.
My other question is this: If I am able to make any functional upgrades to the skinning or templating on this module, is there any way I can share code with you to help benefit the project and further the development? In other words, you have made great strides in templating features of the UserProfile module and others. If this was adapted into the events module for you, would you be interested in the code to implement in future releases of the Events module if it so suites your needs?
Thank you for your time and support on my needs. If I can return any help to you regarding this project, DNN, hosting, general development or what-have-you, please feel free to contact me via services # rideguy.com --
