Bulk upload of events and details?  (Canada)

Is there any way to bulk upload a list of events, and their particular details?

We were hoping to use this module for one of our sports associations (kids baseball and then hockey) but we have over 25 events that span numerous locations with varying details - and that's just for one team.  Doing this by hand, and then creating the events and invitations (for the participants, parents, coaches, officials, etc...) manually is just not be practical.

All this information is already avialble in a CSV and or in Excel format, but we would just need an easy mechanism, by which a non-techie event administrator, could upload/import the events from this list.

Thanks.

- Mark

Re: Bulk upload of events and details?  (United Kingdom)
Hmmm - thats an interesting idea - an Event importer.

Unfortunately I don't think it is very common - it would require a small UI onto a CSV/XML converter - simple enough but would still take about a week with testing etc.

I will make a note of this - perhaps I can spec out a generic solution that could be used by other modules - what do other people think about this - is there a need for this type of thing?

Thanks for the feedback!
