Re: "Smart - Thinker - Event" component error  (Japan)

Hi,

Is that a normal user who is creating the events or an administrator? I assume you are using the latest version of the Events module on 4.8.2?

Thanks
Rodney

Re: "Smart - Thinker - Event" component error  (Japan)

Is that user (9) a SuperUser?

Can you try and run this SQL please:

SmartThinker_EventGetByCreatedUser_C 0, 9

And let me know if you get any rows back?

Thanks
Rodney

 (9) is a  Site "Administrator" role - Defult DNN role..???

 The SQL

SELECT  *
FROM SmartThinker_Event
WHERE CreatedByUserID = 9

returns 3 events for user 9

Re: "Smart - Thinker - Event" component error  (Australia)

Hi Rodney, any feedback from the last post? I am launching my site first week of July and really need to resolve this issue as it is preventing us from editing and deleting events - cant see them therefore cant edit or delete??

Re: "Smart - Thinker - Event" component error  (N/A)

Hi Kel,

As per your email, I logged in as Host and checked your Module Settings. You have Events version 1.0.5 installed which is the last 3.x DNN version (that version was released 2 years ago!). You need to download and install version 4.3.7 from the Downloads area. If you have not made any events yet, I would recommend uninstalling the old module and reinstalling the 4.3.7 version.

This should fix the problem.

Thanks
Rodney
